The Ashburton Show is the largest two-day event in the Mid Canterbury district, returning to the Ashburton Showgrounds on 30–31 October 2026. Run by the Ashburton A&P Association, it brings together the rural and town sides of the region with food, entertainment, and a wide mix of activities for both kids and adults, all built around showcasing what Mid Canterbury has to offer.
