Mix Tape - Dunedin Youth Orchestra

Mix Tape is Dunedin Youth Orchestra’s regular Semester One concert, giving audiences a mid-year chance to hear the orchestra in full flight and a good reason to keep an eye out for these concerts each May and September.

This year’s programme brings together a lively mix of orchestral works, moving across drama, colour, energy, and big musical character. With conductor David Burchell leading the orchestra and Ben Walker featured as soloist, it’s a strong local showcase of young talent, musical depth, and the kind of polished live performance that makes an afternoon concert feel genuinely worth heading out for.
