Pest plan community drop-in session (Ōamaru)

Otago Regional Council is hosting a community drop-in session in Ōamaru, inviting locals to have their say on how pests should be managed across Otago over the next 10 years. This session is part of the review of Otago’s Regional Pest Management Plan and is a chance for residents, landowners, community groups, environmental volunteers, and anyone interested in biosecurity to share feedback.

Visitors can drop in anytime during the session to speak with the biosecurity and policy teams, ask questions, explore pest information displays, and take part in topic tables and activities. Feedback gathered will help shape future pest management planning across the region.
