Repair Cafe

South Canterbury Eco Centre is hosting a Repair Cafe, giving locals the chance to bring along items that need a little care and attention. This community repair session is a great opportunity to keep useful things out of landfill, learn practical repair ideas, and connect with people who have helpful skills to share.

Repair skills available on the day include knife sharpening, wood and ceramic repairs, some mechanical repairs, small electrical items, bike repairs, clothing and alterations, and trap repairs with Predator Free Timaru. Visitors are welcome to stay for a cuppa, ask questions, and enjoy a relaxed community morning focused on reuse, repair, and waste reduction.
