South Canterbury Steaming

Celebrate the beginning of spring with a heritage railway day at Pleasant Point Museum & Railway. Ride behind the historic 1878 D16 steam locomotive or aboard the rare 1925 Ford Model T railcar, then explore the museum, model railway, vintage cinema and working printing presses. Trains will run regularly from 11am to 3pm on Sunday 27 September. Admission costs $16 for adults, $8 for children or $45 for a family, while children under three enter free. Tickets can be purchased from the station ticket office on the day.
