Special Trade Day Matariki Night Market

Hobby Lords Timaru is celebrating Matariki with a full-day Night Market and Special Trade Day packed with trading, shopping, giveaways, collectibles, flash tattoos, and community fun. Running from 11:00 am through to 9:00 pm, this free-entry event invites collectors, hobby lovers, families, vendors, and visitors to come together for a lively day at Hobby Lords Timaru. There will be trading opportunities with collectors from across the region, giveaways including an Ascended Heroes Booster Bundle, and more activities and surprises to be announced.

Vendors are invited to book tables for trading cards, collectibles, figures, toys, hobby items, and more, with table spaces available for $30 for the full day. The event welcomes a wide range of trading card and collectible communities, including Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, One Piece, Disney Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh!, sports cards, figures, toys, and other hobby items. Four tattoo artists will also be in-store throughout the day offering flash tattoos from $60, subject to artist availability. Whether you are hunting for your next collectible, bringing along your trade binder, supporting local vendors, getting a new piece of flash art, or simply enjoying the Matariki atmosphere, this is a full-day Timaru event with something for a wide range of ages and interests.
