Big Weekend in September!

Timaru Miniature Trains & Model Boats is welcoming the Christchurch crew back to Timaru for a special two-day weekend of miniature trains, model boats, and family-friendly fun. Visitors can come along to Rose Street on Saturday 12 September from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, then again from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, or on Sunday 13 September from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Across the weekend, there will be visiting trains, possible steam trains, and plenty of model boats out on the pond. With train rides, displays, and lots to see, this is a great outing for families, train enthusiasts, model boat fans, locals, and visitors. The event is also a chance to support an iconic local voluntary organisation and welcome the visiting crew back to Timaru. Train rides are $2 per person per ride.
