Death Becomes Her

Tūhura Otago Museum is hosting a memorable double feature in the Tūhura Planetarium, pairing astronomy with classic film for a relaxed winter evening in Dunedin. The evening begins with Capturing the Cosmos, narrated by Geoffrey Rush, which explores new astronomy taking place beneath the striking skies of the Australian outback and asks what these discoveries can teach us about our place among the stars.

After a short intermission, guests can settle in for Death Becomes Her, a darkly comic film following frenemies Madeline and Helen as they seek eternal life through a magical potion, only to discover that immortality comes with unexpected upkeep. Snacks and drinks will be available to purchase, and bookings are essential.
