Temuka Color Canter

The Temuka Colour Canter is back for 2026, bringing a colourful afternoon of fun, movement, music, food, and community spirit to Temuka Domain. This approximately 5km fun run and walk starts and finishes at the Oval in Temuka Domain, with participants making their way through seven colour stations along the route. Expect to be covered in colourful powder, enjoy a scenic course through Domain Avenue and past the golf course, and finish the day with a lively Colour Canter finishing party.

The event is open to all ages and abilities, with kids, grandparents, walkers, runners, and dogs on leads all welcome. There are no official race times, so it is all about having fun, making memories, and enjoying a colour-filled afternoon with friends, family, and the wider community. The finish area will include a band and a variety of food stalls. Participants should wear white, be ready for uneven patches of terrain along the course, and prepare to leave looking like a rainbow.
